Sally Hansen Insta-Dry

Being a mom to a 7 1/2 year old little girl, the need for painted fingernails and toes comes up often. Once in awhile, I let her paint mine in return. With a child (even myself!), you need a fast drying fingernail polish.

I received 'Sally Hansen Insta Dry' not too long ago and I have both a love and hate relationship with the product. The polish specifies a "60 second" drying time, however, sometimes you must use more than one coat and 60 seconds is not enough time to let the coat dry. If you are not careful, you will smudge the polish. I cannot give you a specific drying time for more than one coat because, it differs each time.

The other night, my princess asked me to paint her fingernails before bed. We sat on the bed and I lifted her small little hands to my knee's. I shook the bottle of polish and opened up the lid. The applicator is wide which means less strokes, quicker application! I only use one coat on her fingers with Sally Hansen Insta Dry and it does dry within 1-2 minutes.

We are currently using "Muave It" which is a light color, closer to a Nude-Pink. I love this because, it's not too "loud" for little hands as some colors are. I do suggest using a clear topcoat to help protect your polish from chipping.

You can find the right shade located directly on the Sally Hansen website.
(If someone can share how I can post a hyper-link, please let me know. Thanks!)

You can purchase this polish from Amazon.com, Sallyhansen.com, or your local shopping center.
