The President's Physical Activity Challenge is a fun and easy way to make daily exercise a part of your routine. The National President’s Challenge is an opportunity to get America up and moving. Everyone aged 6 and older is encouraged to rise to the challenge. All you have to do is be active five days a week for six out of eight weeks, and log your activity at www.presidentschallenge.org.

It's Easy
Register at The President's National Challenge and get moving! Join The Challenge to get started, stay active or to motivate others. The Challenge provides a no-cost activity log you can use to track your activities.

It's Fun
Participate in over 100 physical activities ranging from housework and walking to athletic and recreational endeavors. Log your activity once you complete it. Adults are encouraged to participate in a minimum of 30 minutes a day and children are encouraged to participate in at least 60 minutes a day. The Challenge offers something for everyone:

Active Lifestyle - For those just getting started (currently participating in less than 30 minutes of activity a day, 5 days a week)

Presidential Champions - For those who are already active and want a new challenge.

It's for You
All members of the "Federal Family" which includes current employees and retirees of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches and their families are invited to sign up.

How to participate
It’s simple and it’s free! Be active five days a week for six of the eight weeks between May 1 and July 24. Register and log your activity at http://www.presidentschallenge.org/ . That’s it!

When you’ve completed the six week program, you can download a free certificate or purchase pins, T-shirts, sport packs, medals and more – available at the President’s Challenge order center. www.presidentschallenge.org/order_center/index.aspx.

It's Important
By establishing a regular habit of physical activity among participants, The Challenge should help to create a foundation for long-term behavior change. The facts show that increasing physical activity can improve health and overall well-being.
