Summer is quickly approaching which means unattractive, saturated underarms. With the southern humidity, I’ve dealt with my fair share of feeling unclean. How many times have you stopped to sniff your underarms just to check for foul odors? I’ll go ahead and admit it; I’ve done it more times than I could count. I’ve even gone as far as keeping a spare deodorant in my purse. The main issue with that is the product melting due to the heat. Never leave a solid deodorant stick inside of the car; you’ll come out to find a nasty mess.
I don’t use Dry Idea on a regular basis as I prefer scented products. Most of the Dry Idea products that I’ve encountered have been unscented. Most likely the scented product had been sold out or they didn’t carry it at the location. Recently, I was sent a sample the new Dry Idea AdvancedDry Fresh brand.
The new Dry Idea AdvancedDry Fresh deodorant has been formulated with vitamin E for a smooth application and is Hypoallergenic. It is also claimed to offer protection for up to 72 hours and pulse activated wetness protection to keep you dry all day long. Dry Idea actually guarantees to “Never let them see you sweat”! Now that sounds like my type of product! A company that stands by their claim and will guarantee the product.
While it’s not summertime that doesn’t mean I cannot use the product. I wear a women’s deodorant all year long, not just during the heated months.
Directions mention to shake the product well. I suggest keeping the cap on when doing this, you don’t want the product to splatter on your clothing or surroundings. When opening the roll-on, I ran my finger around the ball of the applicator to show the contents. I had to run the applicator around a few times which is normal for when I purchase roll-on deodorant.
I enjoyed the light and fresh scent, it wasn‘t pungent compared to some hygienic products. This Dry Idea roll-on went on smoothly and I experienced no irritation. One issue that I’m not fond of is the wet, watery feel of this product. I’m not singling out this particular brand as this is a problem I’ve had with all roll-on’s that I’ve used. However, the liquid quickly dried into soft, barely there protection.
Due to the weather, I cannot comment on how long this product actually works. I’m one who uses deodorant daily, sometimes more than once especially during the warmer months. I can comment that it did leave my underarms feeling dry and clean. I wouldn’t mind trying the other varieties available.
